Art helps us to imagine the future. The Trans Survivors Zine uplifts art, poetry, and writing by trans and nonbinary community members, covering a range of topics – often with a focus on trauma, healing, and resilience. These pieces of art and writing help us to process the changing political and cultural landscape around us, find connection, and express hope for the future.
Join us for a showcase of work from a selection of talented artists, writers, and creatives who have been featured in the Trans Survivors Zine. Contributors will read poems and stories, share their process in creating art, and talk about their visions for future work. We invite participants to come with curiosity and openness, to ask questions, and to think about ways that your own creative process might engage with these topics.
