Trans Masculine Alliance Houston is a peer led community group for anyone assigned female at birth (AFAB) who identifies as FtM, transmasculine, non-binary, or is questioning their gender.
At our meetings, we engage in open dialogue around aspects of our transmasculine identity, such as navigating gendered spaces, hormones and surgery, social transitioning, and dating and relationships. Meetings are limited to those who are AFAB (assigned female at birth) and identify as FtM, transmasculine, non-binary, or are questioning their gender. Participants must be 18 or older.
The Transmasculine Alliance Houston (TMAH) mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for the transmasculine community. We host workshops, community building and social activities, and discussion meetings to address issues related to transmasculine identity.
TMAH partners with other local organizations to offer support for legal transitions, including name and/or gender marker updates and financial assistance for top surgery. Click here to access our applications.
