Transmasculine Alliance Houston (TMAH) is a peer-led educational and social group for individuals in Houston and the surrounding areas who were assigned female at birth (AFAB), identify as transgender, and lean toward masculine presentation. We recognize transgender as an umbrella term and welcome any AFAB individuals who identify as/with labels such as FTM, transmasculine, non-binary, gender-queer, agender, demi-, or who are otherwise questioning their gender.
The Transmasculine Alliance Houston (TMAH) mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for the transmasculine community. We host workshops, community building and social activities, and discussion meetings to address issues related to transmasculine identity. TMAH partners with other local organizations to offer support for legal transitions, including name and/or gender marker updates and financial assistance for top surgery.
